Knife Firebird by Ganzo FB7651 (Black, Green, Gray)
Description of the knife Firebird F7651:
The Chinese company Ganzo has released a new model – Firebird FB7651. The product was presented in the spring of 2019. The novelty is offered to customers in three colors – black, green, gray, all versions are exactly the same. The difference is only in the color and material of the pads on the handles. The knife is a folding everyday item and can be used at home, on a picnic, at work, during a trip, on a walk and in other situations. Small dimensions of the device allow you to carry it with you daily. The novelty blade length reaches 8.3 cm, the total length of the knife is 19.9 cm. The weight is just over a hundred grams. The thickness of the blade is 0.32 centimeters.
The blade of the product is made of 440C steel grade, the hardness of which is 58 units on the Rockwell scale. The steel is protected from corrosion and has several useful characteristics. It is one of the most popular steel grades, solid and very durable. Products made of such steel are of high quality. These models have good cutting properties, hold the original sharpening long enough without any additional care. The resistance to salt corrosion is another valuable quality of this material. Therefore, with a knife made of this steel, you can go outdoors without fear that high humidity will affect the product.
The handle of this model is formed by steel liners, a polymer spacer and pads made of composite material G10, which are fixed by steel screw-bolts of Torx. The design of the handle provides a removable clip made of steel, it can be installed in two positions. There is a large hole for the lanyard. The length of the handle is 11.6 centimeters.
G10 is a fiberglass fabric connected with epoxy resin. It is quite resistant to environmental influences. Resistant to impact, waterproof, easy to process and dye. Such features of the material make it an excellent choice for use in the production of practical and reliable knives. Thus, we get a model that is ready for difficult tests, worthy of trust, and completely safe. Ergonomic handle of the new item is conveniently held in the user's palm and does not slip out of the hand, even if it is wet.
The blade could be removed from the knife using standard steel pegs and fixed with a proprietary lock called Axis Lock. Axial bearings are responsible for the speed and smoothness of the removing. The shape of the clip-point blade is very convenient for performing a variety of household operations. The models with a similar profile are quite popular among hunters and fans of extreme leisure. The form is equally good for use at home, and as a means of defense.

Knife Firebird by Ganzo FB7651 (Black, Green, Gray) reviews
These new Firebird knives by Ganzo are superb! The D2 steel used is a slight upgrade from 440c and these flippers work so well. Ganzo learns fast, and the next generation flippers work every time without a spring assist. The lock is firm with no blade play. These knives come razor sharp right out of the box. For the price, Ganzo knives are probably the best in the world, but please, don't take my word for it. Buy one and see for yourself, and you too will become a Firebird fan.
Dear James, thank you very much for your feedback!
I got this knife in the black G10 and what a nice knife it is - another solid hit for Ganzo. The fit/finish is excellent, blade is sharp and centered, the action is flawless. The G10 scales have the perfect texturing - just enough to ensure a good grip while not tearing up your pocket. I did have to adjust the pocket clip to make it a bit tighter. You can't go wrong with this knife for an edc, especially at this price. These make a great gift or stocking stuffer, as well.
James - the FB7651 uses 440C for blade steel, not D2. Both are excellent.
