Ganzo G7412 knife is designed to be used during the outdoor activities. It has a folding design that makes this knife more compact and easier for transportation. The knife blade is made of a popular stainless steel brand, 440C.
Its surface is treated using the Stonewash technique wherefore you can see traces of grinding materials. This type of treatment makes knives almost without any glare and small scratches are much less visible on them. The cutting edge is sharpened completely smoothly so the knife cuts smoothly and easily almost any material. Total blade length from the edge to the but is 89 mm. The blade is quite strong and near the but its thickness is 3.3 mm. The rest of the knife length, 205 mm, is taken by the handle. It is made of G10 plastic, which now is one of the most popular materials for this part. The handle surface is smooth but it is coated with a fine textured pattern to avoid slipping. The Customers can choose G7412 knife of one of three colors: black, dark-green and bright-orange. Every handle already has a lanyard at the other end of which there is a small whistle. Perfect general purpose everyday carry knife. Oozes quality and robustness. I particularly like the stone washing and the ribbed G10 scales. Once I adjusted the blade pivot screw and the axis lock springs to my liking I can now open it with a small flick of the wrist. I expect many years of use from this product. Gonzo, any chance of a yellow/khaki tan scaled model like the G717?
